peugeot speedfight 2 accelaration and speed problems?
i got a peugeot speedfight 2 air cooled, had a new piston and barrel fitted as i got a new exhaust but when i took the old one off it cracked the barrel but now i cant get above about 30 mph compared to my normal speed of 50mph on a straight and i cant get more than 15 mph up a hill . i have tried 3 sets of rollers (4.5, 6.5 and 8) but still no joy its not making any difference to either the speed or accelaration. anyone wiv any idea would be appreciated?

put all restrictors back in and the original exhaust if it sports pipe and let in all wear in so it runs freely about 800 miles should b ok

sorry i dont think it came across clear in my question, i have had a new barrel fitted but these are the problems im having since it was fitted

If you cracked the barrel your lucky it runs at all,how big a hammer do you use to mend things with,get a new barrel and a set of spanners,and do the job properly next time.Get rid of the hammer.
