Hi,ive just installed my new monitor,i cant seem to get sound from the monitors speakers??? i was thinking i need plug in speakers...but surely i should be able to get sound from the monitors speakers??? it a HP L1750
Have you tried ---control panel--sound and audio devices---and exploring in case a MUTE has been switched on.-----or -----install "ace mega codec"(free prog) to install a codec that may be missing..

you have to plug in the speakers to the computer. The screen will have come with a lead to do this with.
