Ford Mondeo Drivers Seat Removal?

I have a 2000 Ford Mondeo Zetec and the recliner and back support has some play in it. I think the best thing to do is get another seat frame. How do I remove the old seat and can I transfer the electric height adjustment over to a standard seat, or do I need to source a seat with all the gubbings on?
I've never messed with the seats in a car before so laymans terms would be great!

Be careful! If the seat has airbags you should take qualified advice because the airbag could go off if you disconnect without the correct deactivation period and sequence. Dont know how, just know its dodgy!
