Can anyone tell me please I have a Packard Bell Laptop which connects to my wireless internet connections when right next to the router but when moving away slightly the connection is lost and the signal strength is very weak.
Probably a Channel Conflict with a neighbour's network. Download and run a program called inSSIDer. Use it to find out what WiFi channels your neighbours are suing ans the set your router's WiFi to a channel that is not in use and at least two away from any that are.
