worcester danesmoor 15/19 no response?

our boiler fired up in the morning no problems.we had power cut in afternoon and boiler will not do anything.
when turning on/off dial at front does not bring on any power light,have checked power at consumer unit and all seems fine. pump works when using thermostat but nothing at boiler.we are struggling to get engineer out till next week and would like some heating and hot water. can anyone help. ?
