Hotpoint WT540P Washer prewash flashing not filling?

My WT540P Washer is 18months old and doesn't fill on any programme but the cycle runs through with pre-wash continually flasing (no matter what cycle)

If I handwash and put the washer on (spin only ) the pump does work as it spins? Please help
