Mend Hotpoint FW860 Washing Machine Programme Error No Water

how can i fix Hotpoint w/m model fw860?

When selecting and setting up a wash programme the word "test" appears on the Led display, it remains illuminated. Below the word "test" other text appears as the w/m cycles thru the programme eg .pre wash, wash and spin. No water enters the drum, nothing happens. Powering off /on has no effect.
