Mend Daewoo FRS-U201A1 Repair Appliance Freezer

Freezer stopped working - Daewoo FRS U 201A1?

The freezer stopped working, the fridge still works. The unit is now switched off. Mechanic looked - said it needs a new 'motherboard' as he has no way to fix it. We are in the Caribbean but can have parts Fed-exed quite easily.
