Mend Kundo Stopped New Movement

Kundo (Anniversary?) Clock has stopped. Need new movement?

My wife's Kundo, of vintage about 1982 or earlier, has worked fine right up to the last month. Suddenly slowed & stopped as if batt. needed replaced. Did replace batt. but cannot restart. Pendulum is free & hands may be moved to correct time. But a new batt, correctly installed does no good. Of several batts. tried, all check out to the proper voltage. (Very similar circumstance as Clive, Dec. 2009. Quite a coincidence.)
