How do I go about removing and replacing a water pump on my Renault Scenic 1.6 Sport, X reg.

hi, i have x reg scenic 1.6, only bought few days ago, there was a screech from the belt around the pulleys and a water leak from somewhere at back of engine. im thinking water pump? how did you get on? is it a big job to change?

Hi there I'm wondering the same. I'm getting a very bad screaching noise from where the big belt goes round all the pullies. I think this could be my water pump, 51 1.6i
are you getting the same?
