Renault Scenic 2000(W Reg).Water leaking into the boot through the air vent?

I have an annoying situation :my car is a Renault Scenic 1.9 diesel ( 2000 ) .Large volumes of water leak into the boot through the rear window air vent when it rains .I have checked & re-checked the window seals ..they are okay .

i have the same issue but the water is coming from the vent on top of the front passenger's feet!!..why?It did rain a lot that night and my car is parked under a tree. could leaves do that?
