Short circuit in igniter circuit?

After using the cooker we were eating our meal cooker off suddenly explosion in the cooker socket 13amp socket and the power to rcd and blew
Was a lot of condensation on walls (Council Flat) If cooker igniter circuit unpluged consumer unit and cooker 13amp circuit work fine
(Cooker is about 13months old )
If you use a lighter to light gas jets then cooker works well
Any ideas what may be wrong no electrical connection
