Mend Stihl 390 Problem Mins Fires

whats the problem?

got a stihl 390. just lately it dies after 10 mins of running. It then fires on full and half choke but wont run on normal setting. have replaced spark plug; cleaned air and fuel filter, reset high and low screws back to factory settings etc. just seems to point to a fuel problem but what? Am a tree surgeon and maintain all my own kit, but this has got me baffled!!!!

It could be a fuel tank breather issue, slacken the filer cap, does it now pick up ?
