how can I disconnect my alarm? ?

How can I disconnect my alarm permanently. It is not set but when there is a power cut it goes off

Why do you wish to disconnect your alarm. If it is playing up you may only need to have it serviced. It is not recommended to disconnect your alarm personally as it means disconnecting from mains power supply. A call out company will charge anything from 80 to 100 pounds to permanently disconnect, you would pay this for a good service and battery change and at least you would still have an operational alarm
