Hotpoint WD63 washing machine Dryer cycle not working?
The machines runs fine on the wash cycle, and spin dry etc. but fails to run the drying cycle on both synthetic or cotton, any ideas what may be causing this problem, does it need some sort of resetting?
Thanks to anyone for any suggestions
Mine does the same, but the knob and spindle is fine as I hear the clicks when you select the cycles on cotton and synthetics.
Anyone else have this prob?

Oh thanks I found the problem which seemed the front knob had come loose or has a slight crack and it was just spinning without turning the switch shaft and so when aI removed the knob and turned the spindle or the switch shaft with a pair of long nose pliers, its burst into action. thanks all the same
