The DVD player has suddenly stopped working, the disc goes in, it reads it, HO2 comes up and then stop. I read that this means a new spindle. How much does this generally cost to repair and is it worth it? Does anyone know who to send it to or take it to in West London?
I got the exact same error code yesterday and now no more DVD's play on my dvd player. I was told that it is actually the laser is no longer reading the disc, as it is supposed to step through the menus. If this is the case then it is not cost viable to repair as it may be cheaper to buy a different combi. I wish I had taken out the extended warranty. I am doing some more digging and will post it if I find out.
