MIELE WASHING MACHINE?

made a tool (as in your engineer using screwdriver type tool with a 1/2 inch bend in the end) using a stick with an alan key taped to the end. it cleared a small amount of gunk. success...it now takes some conditioner away leaving a weak watery solution in the conditioner compartment!! will have to try again and see!! thx for keeping in touch...will look out for your reply Mx

hi pennie, MY "clean" with boiling water in drawer housing and a jug full in and down housing ...did not work!! Good idea about the 2in1 have bought some today. ...look forward to your reply on meile repairmans result ...shame to have to had him in!!!

Hi pennie, I emailed meile also. They recommend using a little biological powder (not liquid) in the main wash drawer compartment. Then run a 90c cotton cycle. This should clear any build up / residue. must admit I usually clean with VERY hot water and pour boiling water down the drawer housing and did not do that this time ..due to freezing cold garage where machine is!! I have done MY boiling water thing ...will try that ...need to buy powder, as, I only use liquid in a dosing ball ...thx for your welcomed advise and news!!

I tried cable ties to clear the jets ...REALLY gets in and around them was v.good ...best thing for the job!! felt sure it would have cleared them !!! BUT NO.... ggrrrr ...await your response!! margaret

pennie, I have trawled the net for more answers to this problem ...alot mention the use of cable ties to clean the jets ..bendy enough to get in and around soft enough not to damage (I used garden ties) that did not work. Will try the cable ties tomorrow ...will keep you up to date!!! Margaret

hi again pen, have just found titled ...fabric conditioner not dispensing ...try it on search on this site. In SHORT states to take the lid off the machine, to clear jets (if you cannot get them cleared inside drawer compartment) but look for original post. My other half will try this when his cold gets better! try getting back to me under (my) answers if you have any news/help

I have a W526 Miele...I have recently got and posted the same problem. I have had this happen at least about 5 times. everytime it has solved the problem by ...taking out the drawer, and cleaning it and the drawer housing and...getting as far in the "downpipes" as physically possible to get out the gunk ! ...but has not worked this time! have cleaned jets at the top of drawer housing..as stated in the handbook...still not working!! please let me know if you get it solved and how??!!! margaret everson
