Mend Electrolux EOB944 Problem Fan Oven Temperature

problem with fan on Electrolux EOB944 oven?

The fan on my oven only seems to be working intermittently on the highest temperature setting and even then it makes an awful banging noise which drives me crazy. Any ideas please?
