I have a potterton suprema 40 boiler and it stopped working yesterday. The pilot light keeps going out and now wont turn on, currently have no heating or hot water! does anyone have any ideas on what to do please? eariler today I managed to get the water control on and it stayed on for about 5 mins, when I flicked to heating on it went off and has stayed off.
Potterton Supremas are renowned for duff soldered joints on their PCB's because they saved manufacturing costs. You can get decent replacements at a respectable price from cetltd.com

most probably it is the pcb that is faulty, ours has went faulty once before and cost £150+ to replace (maint contract in place now). Search web for the same problem as it is common occurance.
Our own potterton suprema 40 has a fault at the moment that the heating works but it is producing no hot water (wheres that number for our maint contract)
