Thermal coupling or pilot light does not remain lit?
What could be wrong with my Concord Gas Boiler, the thermal coupling or pilot light fails to stay lit. It would appear from information that the electrical current is not working to keep it alight when the gas button is released.
Call a gas man out to check this, probably the thermo couple has gone, or needs cleaning and resetting, this keeps the pilot alight, Does not need the electric supply to do this. Safety device, if pilot goes out gas will not flow.
