Does anyone have any ideas how to open the rear nearside door on the above vehicle without damaging it ?
I have checked all linkages which are undamaged, and the central locking is working. I have taken the external door handle off, this is also operating correctly.
I have taken out the hinge bolts hoping there might be some movement to allow access to the lock and locking bar, but to no avail.
It appears the door lock has failed preventing the door being opened from inside or out.
Does any body have any suggestions to help my predicament ?
Have the same problem when you put on the imboliser.
Had to remove inner panel and hit the plastic cover at the end of the door with the wooden end of a hammer. Had to do this quite a few times, also using the remote control.
This doesn't cure the problem but at least i got the door open and don't use the imboliser.
Have disconnected the battery then re-attached, this did work but it may be coincidence and haven't had a problem since
