engine vauxhall vectra 1.8 16v 1997?

My car some times cuts out when the clutch is depressed for no apperant reason?, this can happen any time, sometimes not for 4 or 5 weeks then 2 or 3 times the same day, other wise it runs perfect,,doubt if its the weather or fuel contamination, any idea

1)Do you lose your collant water?
2) Is there water in your oil or oil in your collant water?
3) Has your cars performance halfed?
4) Is your mangement light on?
5) Do you have any black smoke coming from your exhast or steam/water.
6) And when did this problem occur?
