Whirlpool Washer Won't Spin?

Whirlpool Washer LSC 8244 EQ1 fills, agitates, but when timer goes to spin cycle it continues to agitate. The timer has been replaced and a check of the motor coupling showed no noticeable problem.

Hello,

I would have guessed that a new timer would have solved your problem. Its sounds like the timer is not pausing enough to reverse the motor into the spin mode. For a joke, try lifting the lid on the washer for a second or two, and then putting it down, when the washer is agitating in the spin mode to see if that gets it spinning.
