Mend Renault Megane Fault Sensor

Renault megane 2003. ECU fault codes P0136 and P0141?

My car lost power suddenly. Its all serviced up to date. Ive been given fault codes P0136 sensor circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 2 and P0141 sensor heater circuit malfunction bank 1 sensor 2. What does this mean. The car feels like it wants to go but some thing is holding it back. The car has done 420000 miles and has had its cam belt replaced. Can anyone help please

both of these fault codes relate to the secondary O2 sensor, the secondary one being the one located after the catalytic convertor. check the wiring to the sensor before splashing out on a new one. (there is also a primary O2 sensor before the cat).
