How to remove exe virus on laptop? Samsung P30 ?

Hi, my laptop got exe virus on it but i have not got antivirus protection only firewall on. Windows antivirus keeps coming on but wants to charge £60. I can't afford to buy it is there anything else i can do? Thanks
