Diplomat Dishwasher HJA 8630?

when the springs broke on my diplomat dishwasher I just typed the model number into the search window in ebay and then filtered spares, found one no problem, pack of two was less than a tenner

Alan ,,I have just been fixing the door return/balance in this dishwasher this evening. I removed the screws holding the dishwasher to the work surface and pulled it out. Two screws on top, two at the rear and the two holding the base kick plate on. Remove right hand side. The door hinge strap is a 46cm piece of 3mm nylon cord with molded plastic end fittings which had snapped. 46cm piece of string loop to loop works fine.

Answer for Margaret in Glasgow,,pay to get it fixed??Buy a new bosch.

Hi Margaret,

The designation HJA 8630 could indicate that the dishwasher was supplied by Howdens Joinery. Howdens are a national joinery company and only supply to the trade. They are used a lot by developers as they manufacture kitchens amongst other things and the associated appliances supplied currently bear the 'Lamona' brandname. I believe that the HJA 8630 dishwasher may currently be sourced from Beko. The Diplomat brandname may also have been sourced by Howdens in the past. Worth giving them a ring.
