No picture Samsung SP42W4HPX?

Hi

The picture has gone on my TV, can anybody help. I have owned for about 3 months and have now lost the picture, I have sound, previous owner said the same thing happen to him during his ownership and indicated it was the lamp gone, he paid for the repair the first time around. I have checked a few websites and it appears this tv does not have lamp so that has confused me a little. Could this be a simple repair? The TV was fine before.
