Tumble dryer programmer works; but nothing else?

I close the door, start the machine but only get the ticking noise from the programmer. Drum doesn't turn, no air is blown. If I turn the programmer through the cycle nothing else happens. What is the likely cause?

Drive belt recently replaced.
