why does alarm go off even when disarmed?

I'm having the problem now. I've unplugged the transformer, taken out the batteries from the ceiling sensors, then took the actual sensors down from the ceiling, the alarm beeps still go off every 30 seconds. My present fix is turn off the circuit breaker but that turns off other appliances on the same circuit! Help, anyone?

It could be a tamper fault, it is actually supposed to do that regardless to how annoying it may be for you. Depending how old your system is, how often it has been serviced etc, i would guess it might be your bell box tamper, because its the only part of your alarm that is outside and exposed to the elements. It could also be a battery fault, it really depends what control panel you have.
