ALL my wires are connected but nothing!?

I have a duraband digital terrestrail reciever aka a freeview box.all the wires are connected and in place,but thers nothing on the tv.can you please help a.s.a.p

are you using a scart lead plugged in to the tv?.if so are you selecting the correct av channel on the tv to view the picture.
