Hi, Just moved to a new home with an Oil boiler. This is all new to me and there is a smell of oil within the ulilty room where the boiler is placed. Is this normal?? Thanks Barry
Not really, but kerosene is notoriously difficult to contain. Feel around any pipe connections and valves etc for dampness. Carefully inspect any flexible pipes - these are supposed to be replaced every couple of years or so.
