Fisher and Paykel Smart Drive 9 Pride 5.5 stopped mid wash?

Is there any more feedback on the question above. I have exactly the same problem. I also noticed a quiet wirr wirr sound. This might be the drain pump because it has stopped with the tub full. This after the last couple of weeks where it was cutting out with no power. This appears to be because there is a crack in the stator plate, i.e. the one with all the wires on it.

This is error code 104 which is a communication error has occured between the display board the main controller & other parts of machine which need to communicate with the controller. Difficult to diagnose the exact cause. Recommended by F&P in the most likely order are 1. Faulty drain pump if resistance is less than 33 ohms replace it. 2. Motor controller fault. 3. Display PCB faulty. 4. RPS circuit board on motor faulty. As it would be too expensive to buy all these parts just to try each one, I suggest you call an expert in to do the testing for you.
