How can I fix my 1996 Chrysler Cirrus door ajar alarm?
My door ajar alarm (odometer flashes door, interior light flashes, power locks constantly lock and unlock, chimes ding constantly). It stops when my car is stopped at a red light and begins as soon as I take off with greater intensity as I drive on. All doors are closed securely. I had a busted power mirror and rain may have gotten into the door and this may be causing the problem. I replaced the mirror today and the door ajar problem continues. Any suggestions.
I have the exact same problem with a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus. The symptoms are the same. I have a busted back window and the door cover is not working. The door does not open from the inside. Does any one know where the sensors are? Where can I find a diagram?

this car has micro sensors on the back of your lock cylinders inside of your doors . remove youre door pannels follow the wires from the back of your door handles to the neerest plug and unplug one side at a time and test drive your car to determine wich sensor is bad . if the sensor is removed from the lock cylinder or has fallen off , most likely,it is no longer usable good luck
