worcester 240 boiler, no hot water?

how do i fix my boiler so the hot water works? the heating works (not very hot though), if i leave the heating on for about an hour theres enough water to wash the pots, but doesnt stay hot long enough to have a shower

diaphragm needs changing. easy job but be carefull not to get water in electrics. drop bottom panel of boiler, mains water off. remove microswitch assy from valve, remove 8? screws and union from diaphragm housing(big brass circular valve bottom left of boiler). take out and replace with kit from any ch merchants. put back together and have shower.
