when i try and log on my laptop,it asks for the password,which i have forgotten.it gives you three attempts and then says it is switching off.any ideas plse.my laptop is an iqon.
depends on the password type on many machines. Some passwords can be cleared some cant. Its a security feature to make the machines useless if stolen as its often a expensive repair. If there is no info on the web try ringing their technical support If there is a way they may want proof of ownership before assisting you.
