AIr supply to my Potterton KINGFISHER 2 CF 80?

This is an opened flue boiler, and yes the technician is right.Sealed system refers to the pipework, which I doubt you have owing to the age and type of boiler.

i can understand a system that use's the air supply in the room needing a air brick either wall or floorboard fitted
but if/when a system draws the air in via a balanced flue how THE HELL is this using up the air supply in the room.
lets hear someone justify this reasoning (WHY) not the regulation or EEC directive that no other country takes any notice of . (you need one does not really answer the question) and now for the new draft now blowing in house find the thermals and long johns out.
