The heating on my Rover 25 is not working-fan OK but blowing cold air only?

he heating on my Rover 25 is not working-fan OK but blowing cold air only. What could be causing this problem?

Rover Rover 25 Vehicles, Cars Heating Blowing Cold

in addition to the other answers, there is a cable operated valve behind the engine where the heater pipes go through the bulkhead,the cable can sometimes come off & valve may not open.

Does the temperature rise ? stat may have failed open and engine is not hot.

Check fluid level in radiator,

Heater Matrix may need flushing out (or replacing)
