Mend Citadel XR2 Code Engineer System

I have a Citadel XR2 alarm with out the code?

I have the citadel alarm but we do not have the code. Is it possible to reset the non volatile memory back to the engineer code so we can re-program. The system looks to be similar to the old ADE system but i dont want to open the cover until i know how to re program the CPU if memory serves it is possible just need to be reminded how,

Sorry to jump on the thread, but I have the same issue. Alarm has set itself due to a power outage, now when power reapplied it sounds. I haven't got the code as bought the house with alarm in it and forgot the code. Tried the reset reset mentioned and didn't do anything- any other suggestions? Battery was replaced 2yrs ago..

within 5 seconds of power up, press RESET RESET, panel should beep. This should reset panel to factory conditions.
