Where can I have my 34 Year old Kenwood chef mixer fixed?

My very old Kenwood chef has been working brilliantly, but when beating ice ccream with K beater, the motor stopped and the K beater is stuck in the mixer. Does anyone know where I can have it fixed? Kitchen shops, searching under Kenwood itself no good, only spare parts come up. I don't know model number as it is so old, but definitely right age as my Mum has the same one and had hers fixed in Australia.

Hi I used to work for Kenwood as a Field Engineer, these machines are readily repairable - it is just a matter of getting the right spares. At 34 years or so it is likely to be an A701 or early A901 - the colour would probably tell me, Blue is earlier than black for the most part - therefore 701. The 701 also had a shaped front cover where the attachments fited - 901 has a flat front attachment cover? mail me on dave@home-electrical-survey.co.uk if you need any help

The model number 'should' be on a plate under the base. As far as I am aware (not ever having done it myself) they are easy to dismantle and there are loads of replacement parts on ebay. I googled Kenwood Chef using the image search and there are a couple of really old ones on there. You may be able to identify yours that way.
