to do it properly you need to take the steering stem out and undo the D clip on the back of the switch(holds the electrical part on) then pull out the v clip that holds the two pieces of the steering lock together(this is hard to seee but you can see it through a gap in the frame) use a pick to do it then take the front of the switch out (from the front) then you will see there is a small tag that holds the barrel in push that in and the barrel will fall out just push the new one in and refit it all make sure its all ok before you refit the steering stem.it takes about 1-2 hours.done loads of them and et2's and et4's same thing basically.
