How do I change the brushes on a Hotpoint Aquarius WMA30?

remove the plug remove the top remove the belt and unbolt the motor remove the wires to the brush holders then with a small screwdriver lift the retaining tags under the brush holder (you will see a small cut out under the brushes)slide the holders out and replace with new one untill they clip into the motor housing then lift the small brass tag holding the carbons in the holders replace the wires rebuild and off you go
