Mend ebac 2600e Cutting Minutes Turn

ebac dehumidifier 2600e keeps going off?

My dehumidifier keeps cutting out,when the switch is turned on after a few minutes it will turn off,the red light keeps coming on ,after turning off at the mains when tuned back on it will work again for a few minutes.It is an ebac 2600e model

I had a similar issue with mine. The unit also starts to feel hot at the top. I put it into a local refrigeration engineers and they fixed the fan. It overheats due to lack of lubrication. If this doesn't work long term, the fan can be replaced.
