Veritas R8 Low Battery message?

hello guys I know this sounds like a straightforward one for you but I keep getting this message on my RKP. I have replaced the battery in my control panel but I still get the very same message...is there another battery somewhere that could need replaced, maybe in my external sounder/bell box? Would this show up as such on my Remote Key Pad? This problem has been going on for a while now & I need this sorted soon. Brand new battery in Veritas R8 control unit but same "Check Low Batt" message. Thanks in advance
