how can i fix my radio/cassette ford 3000?

display of last station used was displayed but no sound and on/off or any other control made no difference. removed fuse, other items on same fuse went off, but display still showed. removed battery it went off, re connected code showed but not flashing, tried to enter code but nothing changed - code stays on except after disconnecting battery
