How can i fix my Olympus FE 20?

My lens is stuck out, and when i turn on the power it adjusts slightly, makes a low beeping noise several times, and then beeps at a higher pitch about 8 times, before turning off, i think the lens mechanism may be broken, as i dropped the camera yesterday, but i put the lens back into shape. I dont want to overpay olympus for them to fix it.

Ah, exactly the same thing with mine, and I just bought it last August! That's only 4 months of usage, and I'm sure I didn't drop, it just suddenly won't function. Help!!
