Mend Bissell 3396A Deep Cleaner

Bissell Powerwash Upright deep cleaner?

The spray nossels don't work even though they are clear, nothing coming down the pipe when you activate the spray.
I can't find out how to get to the pipe to check if it is clear all the way.
No instructions in the manual. Help!!!
