Mend Ford Focus Side Electric Switch

How do I fit a new Off side front electric window switch.Ford Focus?

Can I do this myself. The old window switch has been disconnected and I have the new part, but the round 'switch' on the part that positions the side mirrors is still connected. As it is one complete piece it looks as though it should be reasonably easy. Can anyone help me please.
