my boiler doesent ignite when i turn tap on, but always does 2nd time , is it ignition or a gas flow problem

in the past few wks my com boiler hot water the shower mainly comes out just luke warm sometimes almost cold but its fire up ok because the central heating it working but ther no real hot water

This sounds like the diaphragm.
This is hard to change and often you need to change the micro switches as well.
