Mend Ryobi Expand-It Shaft Problem

the shaft of my ryobi expand it strimmer bent?

the shaft of my ryobi strimmer bent while i was tapping it on the ground to extract more cable, is this problem from manufacture, because they wont fix it under warranty due to them saying i would break something i only just brought.
