Mend Miele W527 Washing Machine Drainage Filter

HOW CAN I FIX MY MIELE W527 WASHING MACHINE?

When the wash cycle is completed the water will not drain so the machine will not spin.After clearing the filter on the bottom of the outside of the machine the washing drained and spun.
The same thing happened on the next load.I took the wet washing out and tried the rinse and spin with nothing in the drum it worked fine.
Have you any idea what the problem is ?

If you have cleared obstuctions from the filter then I have a sneaking feeling that A: your pump is on the way out or B: there is some kind of blockage in the sump hose. Either could cause the machine to drain ok sometimes, other times not. To get to the pump or sump hose the front of the machine has to be removed. Once in there check both.
